According to this article at Autosport.com (excerpts from an Autosport interview with driver Oliver Gavin), Corvette Racing may be waiting to see what Aston Martin is going to do before committing to ALMS this season. Even though it was a difficult season for Corvette Racing, they still want competition in GT1. If Aston stays home, Corvette may decide to race in the European endurance season this year.

We sure will miss them at Road America this year, if that’s the case. Hopefully Aston Martin will find funding to race in ALMS.
